BCB Essentials

Everything you need to quickly understand BCB, set up your account, and start confidently managing your cash flow from day one.

  1. What is BCB?
Business Conveyor Belt (BCB) is a cashflow forecasting and planning platform that brings together accounting data, jobs, quotes, invoices, costs and cash timing into one forward-looking view. BCB helps businesses improve visibility over future cashflow, understand upcoming operational pressures and test decisions before making commitments.

  2. Who is BCB designed for?
BCB is designed for business owners, advisors, finance teams, accountants, bookkeepers and operational leaders who need better visibility of future cashflow and business performance.

  3. Do you have a free trial?
Yes. Every new account begins with a 14-day Momentum trial, allowing you to explore BCB's forecasting, planning and scenario modelling features before selecting an ongoing subscription.
  4. How do I create a BCB account?
Select Start Trial from the BCB website and complete the registration process. Once your account has been created, you'll be guided through onboarding and connecting your first integration.
  5. What happens after I sign up?
After registration, you'll be guided through the onboarding process, which includes connecting your integrations, syncing your data and introducing you to the key areas of the platform.
  6. How long does setup take?
Most businesses can complete initial setup within 5 to 10 minutes. Additional time may be required depending on the number of integrations being connected and the amount of data being synced.
  7. Do I need accounting knowledge to use BCB?
No. BCB is designed to present information in a clear and practical way, helping users understand future cashflow and business performance without requiring advanced accounting knowledge.
  8. Can I join an existing organisation?
Yes. If you have been invited to an existing organisation, you can create your account by following the Create Account process and entering your details. Ensure you use the same email address that the Organisation Administrator used when sending the invitation.

  9. Can I add additional users to my organisation?
Yes. Organisation Administrators can invite additional users such as business partners, advisors, accountants or other team members. User limits depend on your subscription plan.

To add a user, navigate to Setup > My Users and select Add User. Enter the user's email address, choose the appropriate role and send the invitation. The user can then complete the Create Account process and will automatically be linked to your organisation.

  10. What user roles are available?
BCB currently supports the following user roles:
Organisation Admin: Manage users, settings and integrations
Advisor: Can access and work within the organisation but cannot manage users
Read-Only: Can view information but cannot make changes
  11. How do I contact support?
If you need assistance, submit a support request through the BCB Support Centre. Including screenshots, error messages and a description of the issue will help our team investigate more quickly.
