Integrations
Everything you need to connect your systems, manage integrations, and ensure accurate real-time data and cash flow forecasts in BCB.
- What systems does BCB integrate with?
BCB integrates with XERO, MYOB and SIMPRO
These integrations allow BCB to bring together accounting and operational data into a single planning and forecasting environment.
Note: Simpro integration is available on Momentum and Performance plans only.
- How do I connect with each of these platforms?
Integrations can be connected during onboarding or at any time through the Integration Centre.
To connect a platform:
1. Open the Integration Centre
2. Select the integration you'd like to connect
3. Click Connect
4. Follow the connection steps provided
Detailed setup guides for each supported integration are available within the Knowledge Base.
Plan limitations apply:
- Foundation includes one accounting integration (Xero or MYOB)
- Momentum includes one accounting integration plus one Job Management System (JMS) integration (Simpro)
- Performance includes one accounting integration plus Job Management System (JMS) integration Simpro, and any future JMS integrations
- I just synced for the first time, why can't I see all my data?
During the initial sync, BCB may process data in stages to help you start using the platform sooner.
In some cases, additional information may continue syncing after onboarding is complete. If you believe data is missing, perform a manual sync from the Integration Centre and allow a few minutes for processing to complete.
If data is still missing, submit a Support Request for assistance. - Can I connect multiple systems/integrations at once?
Yes. BCB is designed to bring together information from multiple systems.
For example, you may connect:
- Xero and Simpro
- MYOB and Simpro
Available integrations depend on your subscription plan and integration allowances.
- Can I switch connected organisations?
Yes. You can disconnect an integration and reconnect it to a different organisation if required.
However, only one organisation can be connected per integration connection at a time. - What permissions do I need to connect my system?
You will require administrative or authorised access permissions within the system you are trying to connect to.
If you're unsure whether you have sufficient permissions, contact your system administrator before attempting the connection. - What happens if my connection fails?
If an integration connection fails:
1. Try reconnecting the integration.
2. Check that you still have the required permissions within the external system.
3. Verify that the account you're connecting has not expired or been disconnected.
If the issue persists, submit a Support Request Form and include any error messages displayed. - What’s the best way to set up BCB for accurate forecasts?
Forecast quality depends on the quality of the information available.
To help improve forecast accuracy:
- Keep integrations connected and syncing regularly
- Maintain accurate data in your source systems
- Keep categories organised
- Review forecast inputs regularly
- Use scenarios to test assumptions before making decisions - How can I improve forecast accuracy?
To improve forecast accuracy:
- Sync your connected systems regularly
- Keep operational and financial data up to date
- Review categorisation and payment terms
- Regularly review projected transactions
- Test assumptions using scenarios
The more accurate your source information is, the more useful your forecasts will be. - What happens if my accounting data changes after a sync?
Changes made in your accounting system will be reflected in BCB after the next successful sync.
If you don't want to wait for the next scheduled sync, you can trigger a manual sync from the Integration Centre.
