FAQs about user roles, permissions, and organisation access in BCB.

  1. What user roles exist in BCB?
    BCB currently supports three user roles: 
    - Organisation Admin 
    - Advisor 
    - Read-Only
  2. What does Org Admin do?
    Organisation Administrators can: 
    - Manage users 
    - Manage organisation settings 
    - Manage integrations 
    - Access organisation-level configuration 

    Organisation Admins are responsible for managing access to their organisation. 

  3. What does the Advisor role do?
    Advisors can access and work within an organisation, including reviewing forecasts, scenarios and platform information. 

    Advisors cannot add or remove users from an organisation. 

  4. What is a Read-Only user?
    Read-Only users can view dashboards, reports, forecasts and organisational information but cannot make changes within the platform. 

  5. Can I invite users to my organisation?
    Yes. Organisation Administrators can invite additional users to their organisation. 

    Invited users must complete the registration process before they can access the organisation

  6. Can I remove users?
    Yes. Organisation Administrators can add and remove users from their organisation at any time.

  7. Can I control what users can see?
    User roles determine what actions users can perform within BCB. 

    While users generally have visibility of organisational data, editing permissions vary depending on their assigned role. 
    - Organisation Admin: Full access and management rights 
    - Advisor: Access to platform features but cannot manage users 
    - Read-Only: View-only access 

  8. Can advisors manage multiple clients?
    Yes. Advisors can access multiple organisations if they have been invited to each organisation by the relevant Organisation Administrator.
